Welcome to CROSS V COMMUNITY GROUPS!

What is a CROSS V COMMUNITY GROUP

CROSS V COMMUNITY GROUP...

... a place to believe,
... a place to belong,
... and a place to grow!

Why a CROSS V COMMUNITY GROUP?

Whether you’re new to Cross or have been around for awhile, CROSS V COMMUNITY GROUPS are one of the best places to get to know people, make new friends, and get connected at Cross. It’s difficult to feel personally connected to hundreds of other people in a large church like Cross. But, in the informal gathering of a CROSS V COMMUNITY GROUP made up of Christian friends, it’s easier to really take the time to talk to each other in meaningful ways, learn and pray together, and share one another’s lives.

Are all CROSS V  COMMUNITY GROUPS the same?

Cross Lutheran Church Small Groups

No, there are many different types of CROSS V COMMUNITY GROUPS. Some groups are made up of only women or only men. There are groups made up of only couples or only singles, and still other groups that are made up of mixed adults – couples and singles, men and women. There are groups for young mothers, families with children, empty nesters, senior citizens and more. Some groups provide child care, others do not.

The make up of groups can be different, and so can the main focus. Some groups focus more on Bible study and others more on fellowship. There are groups that meet for the main purpose of serving together – here at the church or out in the community. There are also support groups for people experiencing grief over the loss of a loved one, overcoming addiction, or maintaining physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle.

When and Where do CROSS V COMMUNITY GROUPS meet?

CROSS V COMMUNITY GROUPS meet on different days and at different times. Some groups meet early in the morning before work. There are groups that meet during the day, and some that meet on a weeknight or weekend. There are groups that meet at the church, but often groups meet in the homes of group members. Some groups even meet at local businesses.

How do I know what CROSS V COMMUNITY GROUP I should join?
