Beginnings A Ministry for Parents and Their Infant ChildBeginnings is a special ministry directed at new parents for the spiritual growth of their very young children. It is a first impression for babies that can last a lifetime and make a lasting influence on parents as well. The program actually begins just prior to the birth of a baby and continues until the child reaches his/her 3rd birthday, at which time the child becomes eligible for our Sunday morning Promiseland program. Parents of these children periodically receive an assortment of colorful and informative materials to encourage the nurture of their child’s faith. If you would like to enroll your child in Beginnings, if you would like to volunteer to help with this ministry, or if you would like more information about the program, contact Erik Gauss, Pastor of Discipleship through the Church Office at 630/553-7335 ext. 107 or by e-mail to egauss@hiscross.org. Back to top MissionsThe mission or task which our Lord Jesus Christ has given every church is to make disciples of all nations by the power of the Holy Spirit: Jesus said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. So wherever you go, make disciples of all nations: Baptize them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teach them to do everything I have commanded you. And remember that I am always with you until the end of time. (Gods Word translation).) Trusting in His promise and lovingly responding to His assignment to us, we at Cross are carrying out that mission by His power. Our experience at Cross has consistently been that we gain far more than we give by our involvement in the Lords mission outside ourselves. - Dubert Newsletter -Taiwan | **VIDEO: January Taiwan Mission Video - YouTube
