Who Can Participate?
EVERYONE can participate!! There are no income limits, prequalifications. or restrictions where you live - anyone can order. The menu changes monthly and will be available online and at the Caring Hands Thrift Shop Caring Hands Thrift Shop in downtown Yorkville.

There is no limit to the number of units you may purchase. Your order MUST BE paid in full when you place your order. Accepted forms of payment include Visa, MasterCard, LINK cards, check and cash. To order with a credit card click here. There are additional monthly specials that can also be purchased, however, a $30.00 unit must also be purchased.

Distribution Day
Orders must be picked up during the determined time at Cross North Campus (located in the Loving Arms Childcare Center) at 7481 Mill Road in Oswego. Click here for a map. Orders will not be held. There are no refunds once an order is placed. Any unclaimed boxes will be given to families in need.

How Can You Help?
Volunteers age 12 to 112 are needed to assist in many areas including:

• telephone reminder calls the week before scheduled pick-up date;
• return any phone calls left on the Angel Food Ministry line;
• communicating this opportunity throughout the community

• loading and unloading the truck;
• set-up at Cross North Campus location (in Loving Arms)
• clerical help to check in customers & assist in order placement;
• greeters to aide traffic flow;
• help “man the line” to distribute the food;
• a listening ear for anyone who might need to talk or has a prayer request;
• assist with taking orders to customer’s cars;
• take down.

• Provides discounted groceries for all those who are stretching their weekly dollars
• Allows us to minister to those who come through the doors

How to Order
Orders can be placed at the Caring Hands Thrift Shop, 220 S. Bridge Street (Hwy. 47) in Yorkville. Their business hours are:

• Monday-Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Saturday - 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Sunday - The store is closed.
